Pro Tools

- 1 In Pro Tools, open File > Import > MIDI and select the .mid file.
- 2 Choose "Import as Tempo Map" so tempo events override the session tempo.
- 3 Confirm in the Edit window timeline that each tempo change is reflected.
Logic Pro

- 1 Drag the .mid file onto an empty Logic Pro project.
- 2 Open the imported region and verify tempo/time-signature events applied automatically.
- 3 Open the Marker track to confirm Ableton locators carried over by name.
